From His First Sin to the Present, His Chaos Continues

The history of government on this earth is a most fascinating one, a history where the conquerors essentially control the written dialogue and glorify their own exploits. It is usually the strongest military powers who conquer the weaker ones and write history, through the crucible of butchery by sword or spear, or in more modern times by guns, artillery shells, flame throwers, nuclear bombs, nerve agents, or lethal disease agents.

Because of the cruel carnage of war, it is obvious to us Christians that Satan the Devil is the force behind the military and political leaders who participate in such debauchery, for “… your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (I Peter 5:8). He is the one who pits man against man, family against family, and nation against nation, creating disharmony and competition wherever he goes. Satan is the evil power who incited the chaos that infected the crowd which demanded the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (Matthew 27:21-25), and stirred up the citizens against Paul and his companions (Acts 19:23-29). He is also the instigator of conflicts you might have with your neighbors, friends, or family members, for his objective is to take peace from the world in any way he can.

I have decided to write on this topic because it is so critical to understand why we have such chaos and confusion in the world today. It has been said by many wise men that in order to defeat your enemy you must know what he is thinking. Sun Tzo stated,

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the results of a hundred battles.”

It is very hard — neigh well impossible — to put oneself into the shoes of the Devil, nor would any of us wish to do so, even though he is the enemy. We can, however, get a good idea of his character and motives by seeing what he does in the world’s scene and within the lives of those he controls. Let us first ascertain that the Devil truly is the god of this world.

Satan … the Ruler of This World

It is tempting to say that this world is under the control of the Creator, the One who made all things and placed mankind on the earth to tend, keep, and exercise dominion over everything in it (Genesis 1:26, 28: 2:15). Indeed, Christ is “… the express image of His [the Father’s] person, and upholding [enegko, ‘carried or borne along’] all things by the word of His power [dunamis, ‘forces, miraculous power’] …” (Hebrews 1:3) He provides the “glue ,” as it were, that maintains all matter in its present state. The subatomic particles, atoms, compounds, minerals, rocks, gases, water, living cells of all plants and animals, and all energy within the electromagnetic spectrum and beyond are all the product of the Eternal’s creative  hands, His incomprehensible planning and creativity … making masterful works of art from the formless energy that pervades all of space.   

Our creator also sets up leaders of nations, and brings them down.

“… that the Most High rules in the kingdom of man, gives it to whomever He will, and sets over it the lowest [shphal, ‘low, sink down, abased’] of man” (Daniel 4:17; see also Daniel 2:21; 4:25, 32; 5:21).

This fact, however, does not negate the fact that the Devil essentially rules the nations through influencing leaders, and people throughout all nations. Jesus Christ made this point abundantly clear when He faced off with the Devil in the wilderness. Notice what the Devil said in Matthew 4:8-9.

“Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ‘all these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me’” (see also Luke 4:5-8). 

Jesus did not deny that the Devil had the nations in his hands, and as such could give away his authority over them to whomever he willed, even to Jesus Himself. Jesus made it plain, however, that only Yahweh Elohim was to be worshipped and served. The Devil could not abide with that profound truth — for he wished to replace Jesus from His rightful throne upon the earth that He was promised — so slunk away into his own darkness: “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7; see also Ephesians 4:27 and I Peter 5:8-9).

Notice the several other references to Satan being the ruler of this world.

“… whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (II Corinthians 4:4).

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience …” (Ephesians 2:2).

“We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one” (I John 5:19).

“I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in me” (John 14:30).

ruler = archon, “first in rank or power.”

world = kosmos, “orderly arrangement of the world.”

“Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler [archon] of this world [kosmos] is cast out” (John 12:31).

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).

powers = exousia, “force, capacity, mastery.”

rulers = kosmokrator, “a world-ruler, an epithet of Satan.”

age = aion, “an age, time period.”

wickedness = poneria, “depravity, malice.”

heavenly places= epouranios, “above the sky.”

“… of judgment, because the ruler [archon] of this world [kosmos] is judged” (John 16:11).

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast in the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9).

The inset section in Isaiah 14:12-17 describes how Lucifer — who upon his sinning became Satan — desired to “ascend into heaven” and “exalt my throne above the stars of God” (verse 13). He wanted to sit at the head of the government of God’s people, “ascend above the heights of the clouds,” and “be like the Most High” (verses 13-14). Those aspirations he did indeed fulfill when he — the Devil — tricked Adam and Eve into sinning in the Garden of Eden, which led to their being kicked out of Eden. At that point Satan became the defacto ruler of the earth. His deepest desires were realized, as he had planned from the very beginning of the re-creation in Genesis 1: replace the pure, undefiled, lawful government of Elohim with his own self-centered, carnal, lawless government. I personally believe that Satan was the ruler of an empire on earth before the Genesis 1 re-creation, when he was “the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty,” and “perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you” (Ezekiel 28:12,15).

Once he sinned due to “merchandising,” he lost his authority and was “cast out as a profane thing from the mountain [government] of God” (Ezekiel 28:15-18). The remnants of his violent perverted society were washed away in a great flood, the waters covering the earth that we see in Genesis 1:2. Ever since that time, Satan has jealously sought revenge for his being cast out from the Eternal’s most influential position on earth. He realized that revenge with the temptation and demise of Adam and Eve, Elohim’s replacement for Satan, which allowed Satan to return as the god of this world … albeit through a deviously concocted plan. He truly lived up to his crooked, serpentine character!

In spite of the world being under the domain of the devil, we still must understand that Satan can do nothing that the Father does not allow. Job was afflicted by Satan by first losing all of his children and material wealth. Then he was cast into a miserable affliction of boils, in both cases because of Yahweh’s allowance and limitations (Job 1:67-12; 2:3-7); Satan could first not touch Job’s person, and later could only afflict his body but not kill him. In like manner, Satan was given approval to persecute some in the Smyrna congregation (Revelation 2;10), and he also asked to “sift like wheat” the apostles (Luke 22:31).

Despite the devil’s intense desire to destroy the elect, God’s people are protected. The devil is unable to destroy any of them who fear the Eternal; their bodies may die, but not their spirits.

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell [Gehenna, ‘a valley outside of Jerusalem where refuse was dumped’]” (Matthew 10:27).

Ancient Israel was preserved from death by the Egyptian army when the walls of water on either side of them came crashing down in the Red Sea. His nation was promised protection as an eagle protects its fledglings. An eagle will stretch it wings over her chicks to protect from the scorching sun, and wrap her wings around them to protect them from cold winds (Exodus 19:4; Deuteronomy 32:9-11; Psalm 36:7). We just noted that Peter and the apostles were preserved from destruction by Satan (Luke 22:31).

“God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distresses (Psalm 46:1). He being the Shepherd, “we are his people and the sheep of His pasture (Psalm 23:1; 100:3). He assures us of His deep desire to protect us, as does a shepherd his sheep (Ezekiel 34:11-16). He will collect us, His lambs, in His bosom and carry us (Isaiah 40:11). Examples of this protection abound throughout Scripture, such as that given to Shadrach, Meshech, and Abednego in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:8-30), Jesus Christ after His birth and up until His crucifixion (Matthew 2:13-15; 26:53; Luke 2:40), and the armies of Israel when they obeyed His directions (Exodus 23:31; Numbers 21:2; Deuteronomy 2:30; 3:2; 7:24; Joshua 8:7; Judges 4:7; 7:7; I Samuel 23;4; etc.). Of course, this protection is contingent upon obedience to the Creator (Proverbs 18:10; Psalm 91:1-2; 33:18-19; 145:19; Leviticus 26:3-13; Deuteronomy 28:1-14).

Now that we have proven that Scripture makes plain the fact that Satan the Devil is the god of this world, let us trace his nefarious deeds through history. The story of mankind through the ages is one of disease, death, and butchery through wars and conflicts within a world afflicted with the carnal spirit of man … as so clearly pointed out by Paul in Galatians 5:19-21: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, and revelries.

A History of Satan’s Government

The Creator never intended that there be rebellion against His ways of living. After all, government is defined as the interrelationships we have with one another, which are guided by our personal moral code. That moral code which all of mankind is designed to follow is written in the Ten Commandments, and the statutes and judgments that proceed from them. Those are the ways of living that assure harmony and peace, prosperity and joy, beauty and uplift within personal lives, communities, and nations. When Adam and Eve were created, those laws formed the foundation upon which all of civilization was to thrive.

However, there entered a force within the realm of mankind and all of the cosmos that abrogated this original design for government. What had originally been made perfect and orderly now became chaotic and confused. The Laws of Thermodynamics were upset. The first law states that matter cannot be created or destroyed by ordinary chemical means: the amount of energy in the universe is constant, and can change from solid to liquid to gas to plasma or electromagnetism and back again.

However, a second law, the law of entropy, states that while total energy remains the same, its quality deteriorates over time. Entropy is a measure of unusable energy within a closed system, such as the universe. As usable energy decreases, unusable energy, or entropy, increases. This term is a gauge of randomness or chaos within such a closed system … a system in which Satan and his cadre have been operating for some time. The system of the great Creator would not have entropy as its mode of operation; rather, living systems and order would be the rule, not randomness and chaos. The systems of both the living and non-living in God’s creation move towards an aggradation of energy forms. However, today we see all of creation under the bondage of decay because of Satan’s evil wavelength penetrating all things.

“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption [increase in entropy] into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now” (Romans 8:20-22).

I. In the Beginning

It is standard understanding for Christians to assume that the first advent of humankind on the earth was 6,000 years ago, when Adam and Eve were created and placed in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:7-8). However, Scripture, geology, and archology speak otherwise.

Scripture. We are confronted with statements in Genesis 1:1-2 that claim the following.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

The beginning of what? Does this indicate that all of the universe, or at least the earth, were brought into being at this beginning 6,000 years ago? Or, does it mean this was the beginning of a re-creation of the earth’s ecosphere, one that was flourishing before a great flood covered the earth and became without form [tohuw, “lie waste, desolate, worthless”] and void [bohuw, “empty, an undistinguishable ruin”]? The evidence is unanimous in my view that this latter view is the correct one, and the days of Genesis 1 outline the reconstruction of a demolished earth which once contained a vibrant civilization. “… darkness was on the face of the deep” (Genesis 1:2) must refer to the atmosphere being saturated with dust and debris from volcanic eruptions and cosmic encounters with meteors, which shielded sunlight from reaching the earth’s surface. The key to understanding the Hebrew text is the perspective from which the author is speaking: the speaker [Elohim] is hovering over the surface of the water, where the sunlight was blotted out by the dust above. God was not speaking from above the dust of the atmosphere where it was clear.

Over the course of several days [yowm, “a literal day, or a space in time”], which I believe refers to several years, the atmosphere gradually cleaned to allow light to appear (day one), plants to grow (day three), heavenly bodies to be discerned (day four), and finally various animals and men to survive (days five and six). I cover this creation week in detail in my book The Three Edens.

Then we must recognize that when the serpent (Satan) arrived on the scene in Genesis 3:1, he already was corrupted. This is in contrast to our knowledge of Lucifer’s sinless perfection when he was in Eden as revealed in Ezekiel 28:12-15. This “Eden” is the very location of the Father’s heavenly Zion. Therefore, Lucifer had to first sin through merchandising [rkullah, “to travel and trade, traffic”; Ezekiel 28:16, 18] before he approached Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Merchandising — in Satan’s case, enriching himself while trading within a society that allowed merchandising — required a civilization of some sort, one that had to exist before the re-creation of Genesis 1. That evil world was apparently similar to the one that had developed by the time of Noah, wherein “… the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5). That great evil on earth caused Yahweh to destroy man and beast from the earth in a great Flood (Genesis 6:5; 7;8), a flood like we see covering the earth in Genesis 1:2. History repeats itself (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10; 3:15), and as the Eternal wiped away the evil civilization of Noah’s day, so He destroyed the civilization in Satan’s day..

Geology and paleontology. The geologic strata deposited over much of the earth revels untold mysteries of the planet’s history. Life forms preserved beneath the layer known as the “Cretaceous Extinction” are distinctly different from the fossilized animal and plant life found in layers above that layer. Below it we find dinosaurs, huge plants, and various other plant and animal forms not found in deposits above this Cretaceous layer. Above it are found more modern fossilized creatures such as horses, sabre-toothed tigers, giant sloths, mammoths, and wooly rhinos These creatures are likely companions of pre-Flood people from Adam to Noah.

Below the Cretaceous Extinction are also found the preserved skeletons of humans, most of them giants. There are abundant records of these people, like us homo sapiens of today in every way except for size. These giants are sometimes found in the same proximity of dinosaurs. In one case, at Glen Rose, Texas, giant human footprints are found within dinosaur footprints, proving they existed at the same time and in the same proximity.

This pre-Adamic civilization must be the one in which Lucifer [heylel; from halal, “to shine, to make a show, be bright”] sinned and became Satan [satan, “an opponent, Satan, the arch-enemy of good”] through merchandising. Lucifer, who was “… the seal of perfection, full of  wisdom and perfect in beauty …,” covered with every precious stone, “ … perfect in your ways from the day you were created …,” became filled with violence [chamac, “to maltreat, wrong, unjust gain”], lifted up [gabahh, “to be lofty, haughty”] in his beauty, and corrupted [sachath, “decay, ruin”] in his wisdom (Ezekiel 28:12-17). This magnificent Lucifer walked in the midst of fiery stones, and was cast out of the government (mountain) of God, from the midst of those fiery stones at the throne of the Father (Ezekiel 28:14-16; Daniel 7:9-10; Revelation 4:5). Lucifer was the head of government on the earth — he had a throne [kiece] (Isaiah 14:13) — even as Adam was sent to replace hm in the next eon … and as Jesus Christ is set to take up the banner of King of Kings and Lord of Lords in the coming age (Revelation 19:16).

Various evidences of this pre-Adamic civilization have been uncovered, which include time pieces, mining machines, and various tools, showing the sophistication of this civilization. It was one that apparently Satan ruled with despotic harshness and cruelty after he sinned. That is the nature of all governments once the love, joy, humility, and peace of God’s spirit are removed.

II. Creation to the Flood

Satan had a big job cut out for him: to replace the new leader of a new age, Adam, the son of Elohim (Luke 3:38). He could not abide with the thought of another son of Elohim replacing him at the helm of a renewed earth. Surely Adam knew Satan, for they were brothers of God (Job 1:6, 2:1), and he was well aware that he could not deceive his brother direcly. Thus, he tempted Adam’s female counterpart Eve. She was deceived and sinned. Moreover, she then convinced Adam to take of the forbidden fruit. In that way the devil brought Adam down to his own sinful level, and was able to compromise the lives of every person ever since. Sin was passed down as an inherited trait, infecting the whole human race: “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me” (Psalm 51:5).

In spite of this initial victory over Adam and all of mankind since the beginning, Satan came to learn of the grand plan of redemption of mankind through the sacrifice of another Son of God, Jesus Christ, who would arrive on the scene 4,000 years later and pay the price for the sins of all mankind. While this incredible plan announced in prophetic Scripture was guaranteed to wipe away all of the aspirations that Satan had, his revengeful, jealous nature could not be appeased. Blinded by red-hot obstinance and hard-headedness, he refused to admit his own error and resolved to combat his heavenly Father to the very end. Such a hedonistic attitude set the course for humanity in the spirit of self-aggrandizement and avarice for the next 6,000 years! Like a sassy teenager, he would attempt to cajole and provoke his Father, who with infinite patience still holds hope for His wayward son.

“And the Lord said to Satan, ‘From where do you come?’ So Satan answered the Lord and said, ‘From going to and fro on the earth, and walking back and forth on it.” The Lord said to Satan, ‘Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? and still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.’ So Satan answered the Lord and said, ‘Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. But stretch out Your hand now, and touch  his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to your face!’” (Job 2:2-5).

Nothing would stop this adversary from attempting to depose the Eternal’s plans for mankind by deceiving people into thinking the fulfillment of millennial prophecies were from his own hands … that he would bring in the New World Order. The course was set for endless conflict and heartache for the next 6,000 years.

The history of mankind began with Adam and Even being expelled from the Garden of Eden — God’s throne — and thrust into a much less friendly outer world. The way to the Tree of Life had to be barred, or Adam and Eve would live perpetually in sin … an unacceptable eventuality (Genesis 3:22-24). Not long after, once their first children had grown, the first murder took place — Cain killed Abel (Genesis 4:8) — and the litany of war began.

The Satanic nature of Cain cannot be overemphasized. His attitude concerning his grain offering in Genesis 4:3-5 was one of getting for himself, and according to Josephus he was the first person to plow the soil. John 3:12 states that Cain’s works were evil, while his brother Abel’s works were righteous. Josephus further stated that he obtained increase from the ground by “forcing” it. Then he wrote,

“He also introduced a change in that way of simplicity wherein man lived before; and was the author of measures and weights. And whereas they lived innocently and generously while they knew nothing of such arts, he changed the world into cunning craftiness. He first of all set boundaries about lands; he built a city, and fortified it with walls … and called that city Enoch ….” 

People multiplied greatly throughout the earth, and so did evil and violence of all sorts as the spirit of the Devil enveloped all of mankind. In particular, the same  renegade evil sons of Elohim came down upon Mount Hermon, materialized as man, and intermarried with human women to produce the Nephilim giants. They were giant in statue as well as great in wickedness. Over the centuries these giants and their progeny intermarried with people throughout every community and nation, fulfilling Satan’s desire to inject his own evil family’s genetics into the entire human race, thus thwarting the Eternal’s plan for purity of genetics through Adam’s line.

Only one  person maintained his gentic purity: Noah, along with his wife.

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. This is the genealogy of Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked the God” (Genesis 6:8-9).

All other humans on earth had corrupted their genetics with the evil sons of Elohim, and consequently “… the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and … every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5). Noah and his family built the ark, and in the year 2348 B.C. the great Flood came. Only eight people were aboard the ark: Noah, his wife, and their three children and their wives. Humanity on earth had a new beginning, with the command to “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth” (Genesis 9:1).

III. The Flood to Today

The multiplication of mankind commenced as directed after the family of Noah left the ark, and soon a civilization began to spread across the plains of Shinar, in the vicinity of the Tigris and Euphrates River. The various families of Noah’s sons were supposed to migrate to various parts of the earth that the Eternal had assigned them to inherit. However, the forces of evil were beginning to assert themselves once again as before the Flood, as again the evil sons of Elohim came to earth and cohabited with women, producing giants as they had before (Genesis 6:4: “There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward ….”).

One of these descendants of the corrupt sons of Elohim was a man named Nimrod. Interestingly he is not named among the five sons of Cush in Genesis 10:7. Rather, he is mentioned in the next verse, as if something was different about him … such as his being born of a female Nephilim, making him a giant. The Syriac calls him “a warlike giant.” A giant he was, “… a mightly one on the earth. He was a mightly hunter before [paniym, ‘the face’] the Lord” (Genesis 10:9). His name in Hebrew [marad] means “he rebelled;” a very bad man he was, after Satan’s own heart. According to Josephus,

“Now it was Nimrod who excited them to such an affront and contempt of God. He was the grandson of Ham … a bold man, and of great strength of hand. He persuaded them not to ascribe it to God, as if it was through this means they were happy, but to believe that it was their own courage which procured that happiness. He also gradually changed the government into tyranny — seeing no other way of turning men from the fear of God, but to bring them into a constant dependence upon his power …. Now the multitude were very ready to follow the determination of Nimrod, and to esteem it a piece of cowardice to submit to God; and they built a tower ….”

The Jerusalem Targum states, “He was mighty in hunting (or in prey), and in sin before God, for he was a hunter of the children of men in their languages; and he said unto them, ‘Depart from the religion of Shem, and cleave to the institutes of Nimrod.’” The word tsayid, rendered hunter in English, signifies prey, and in Scripture is applied to the hunting of men by persecution, oppression, and tyranny. Thus, this powerful man, having acquired authority, used that power for tyranny and oppression of people to create the first kingdom on earth following the Flood. Here we have the beginning of hierarchical civil governments on earth, as Nimrod initiated cities — Babel, Erech, Accad, Calneh, Nineveh, and Calah — and built that great wonder of the world: the Tower of Babel.

The Tower of Babel served as a symbol of unity to the 70 nations mentioned in Genesis 10, “… lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth” (Genesis 11:4). It was likely a religious icon as well, stretching into the sky as if to serve as a place to flee should another flood cover the earth. The ploy by Nimrod to keep the people from moving from his kingdom by having the great tower always in view, and having them live in cities where they were dependent upon the goods and services of his centralized economy, did indeed work for a time. Having one language kept the various family nations together, especially when coerced to remain so through the fear and force of a centralized government. Apparently technology under these conditions was advancing rapidly, such that,

“Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them” (Genesis 11:6).

The situation was somewhat like the modern Western world, with English being the common singular language of science and industry. Putting together the inventiveness of many people likely pointed civilization towards technologies that would be destructive, such as atomic weaponry. However, the biggest problem with Nimrod’s control of the people was keeping them from migrating to their appointed homelands. This migration was critical for the completion of God’s destiny for each nation. Thus, “… the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth” (Genesis 11:9).

Abraham Is Called

Out of the cesspool of sin and wretchedness that comprised the post-Flood kingdom of Babylon came Abram, a man called by the Creator to set the stage for the redemption of mankind. The character of this man was quite profound. A very rich man in gold, silver, and cattle (Genesis 13:2), he had been taught the ways of the Eternal by none other than Shem, and supposedly passed through a fiery furnace trial like Shadrach, Meshech, and Abednego had. Because of his faith and obedience he was given incredible promises: to become a great nation, to have a great name, and to be a blessing to all the families of the earth (Genesis 12:2-3). His descendants were to be as numerous as the stars of the heavens, and he was to inherit all the land of Canaan, plus territory from the Nile to the Euphrates River (Genesis 15:5, 18). Later his name was changed to Abraham, which meant he was to be the father of many nations (Genesis 17:4-5).

Abraham was given these wonderful gifts that were passed on to his som Isaac, who was told by Yahweh,

“Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I gave all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. And I will make your descendents multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My judgments” (Genesis 26:3-5).

Abraham’s obedience and faith to follow the commands of his Creator were the opposite of Satan’s character. He could not bear to follow the dictates of his Father, but as a rebellious child forged his own opposing pathway. Thus, the roadway given to Abraham’s seed and the pathway chosen by the devil were diametrically opposed. Never could they meet … and so has been the case throughout history.

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols?” (II Corinthians 6:14-16).

The history of the nations of the world is a checkered one; wars, famines, plagues, and natural disasters have continually dogged mankind’s footsteps. It is not the purpose of this paper to document all of the events of the devil’s kingdom throughout history since the Flood, but a short list of some of the more serious events are shown in the tables on the next three pages. Records of history are replete with the terrible calamities of war and nature, which have resulted from Satan’s raging among the nations, and his influencing of natural phenomena.  

Clearly this world of today is the devil’s kingdom. He claims it, and he owns it. The evidence for that is made clear by the wars and conflicts he has initiated from the beginning of civilization to the present. He is a murderer and liar, and has been from the beginning of this age.

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it” (John 8:44).

The first murder in this age, that of Abel, was instigated by the devil, and so have the wars ever since then been perpetrated by him. The blood of millions upon millions of people made in God’s image is dripping from his fingers. He would just as soon that every last person on earth would be killed, for he knows that each one of them has the potential to become God and replace him on the throne of the earth, alongside Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29; Revelation 3:21).

The degree of rage that Satan must experience when he is brought face-to-face with the reality that he will be displaced from the throne of earth has got to be profound. He is like Saul when an evil spirit troubled him (I Samuel 16:14). That evil spirit so distressed him that he tried to kill David with a javelin (I Samuel 18:10-11), and even after swearing to David that he knew he would be king — and he would no longer try to track him down and kill him — he still pursued him (I Samuel 23:8-26; 24:1-22; 26:1-25). Satan drove him to lie and murder, just as Satan does through leaders in all of history … despite his defeat in the confrontation with Christ in the wilderness.

“And the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me’” (Matthew 4:9).

The earth’s kingdoms were his, and when he realizes at the end that he will not be able to retain his earthly throne, he will try to destroy every one of the imagers of God.

“For there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. and unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved …” (Matthew 24:21-22).

Satan will attempt to kill off mankind by wars, or by disease, famine, or natural disasters that he either initiates or exacerbates. The devil caused fire from heaven to kill Job’s sheep and servants, and brought a great wind to collapse the house of his children and kill them (Job 1:16, 18-19). It is likely that the “plague” Yahweh sent upon Israel because of David’s numbering the people, which killed 70,000, was carried out by Satan or one of his minions (II Samuel 24:15), even as Satan was dispatched to afflict Job with boils (Job 2:6-7). Other plagues and killings could also have been carried out by the devil and his henchmen: the firstborn of Egypt (Exodus 12:29), the calf worshippers at Mt Sinai (Exodus 32:28), the Korah incident (Numbers 16:19-50), and the harlotry with the Moabites (Numbers 25:1-9), for example.

How Satan Rules On Earth

Satan the devil, a son of God (Job 1:6; 2:1), does not physically sit on the throne of the earth. He operates as an unseen spirit, but that does not lessen his impact on people and on non-living systems. He works through influencing people at all levels, but especially those in positions of leadership, whom he pressures in various ways to do his bidding. 

In fact, the various nations on earth each have assigned to them a powerful spirit who sways the people to his end.

“Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations, ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you: when the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam. He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the sons of Elohim. For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance” (Deuteronomy 32:7-9).

[The sons of Elohim is translated as “children of Israel” in many translations, but is not the correct translation. The Revised Standard Version renders this sons of God, as does The New English Bible. The Moffatt version reads guardian angel. The Bible: An American Translation says various deities, and The Living Bible: Paraphrased reads supervising angel.]

This Scripture is referring to the 70 nations of Genesis 10 that were dispersed to their respective territories of habitation across the earth at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:8-9). In other words, the Most High God assigned sons of God to head these nations, influencing the leaders in very direct ways. We note in Daniel 10:20 the “prince of Persia” and the “prince of Greece,” two of these 70 spirits. then in verse 21 we read of  “Michael your prince,” who apparently is the executive of the “Lord’s portion,” Jacob’s descendants (Deuteronomy 32:9). This Michael, a son of God — an archangel, or “ruler over angels” [archaggelos] as described in Jude 9 — is called “The great prince [sar, “head person”; from sarar, “to have dominion”] who stands watch over the sons of your people …” (Daniel 12:1). This great and powerful spirit is on a par with Satan himself in the sense of having many angels in his charge (Revelation 12:7). Note Michael’s and Satan’s symmetry in Jude 9, where “Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, ‘The Lord rebuke you!’” Likewise, in Revelation 12:7-9 Michael and the angels under his command are shown fighting against the Devil (the dragon); as sons of Elohim they both were of a similar family heritage.

These mighty spirits are not the angels mentioned in Hebrews 1:13-14, who are ministering spirits to the elect … powerful in their own right but not to the extent of the sons of Elohim on a par with Christ, who has become “… so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they” (Hebrews 1:4).  Christ, Satan, and Michael are likely among the companions [chaber, “an associate”] mentioned in Psalm 45:7, as quoted in Hebrews 1:9.

In virtually every form of government on earth the rulers exercise authority over the people. As Jesus stated during His last Passover,

“The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called benefactors” (Luke 22:25).

Perhaps this is the reason, then, that Nebuchadnezzar said that, while the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, He gives it to whomever He will, and sets over it the lowest [shphal,”lowest, basest”] of men … men that rule in harshness and ignorance of Truth, in sharp contrast to God’s commission that “He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God” (II Samuel 23:3).

Thus, we see in all forms of government either a direct possession of the ruler by the devil, or strong influence by him. The more power the leader  possesses, the more dictatorial he becomes. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

How Satan Influences People 

The ways by which the devil influences people, in particular leaders, are not hidden. Both Scripture and secular sources reveal these methods. We are told,

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:11-13).

Our battles are against unseen spiritual forces that want to upset and destroy us. These powerful spiritual entities include sons of God, such as Satan, evil angels, and demonic spirits, the demons according to the Book of Enoch originating from the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. The Nephilim were the giant progeny of the rebellious sons of Elohim who descended to earth, and bore children with human woman (Genesis 6:2-4). As the Book of Enoch states in 15:8-11,

“Now the giants [Nephilim], who have been born of spirit and flesh, shall be called upon earth evil spirits, and on earth shall be their habitation. Evil spirits shall proceed from their flesh, because they were created from above from the holy Watchers was their beginning and primary foundation. Evil spirits shall they be upon the earth, and the spirts of the wicked shall they be called. The habitation of the spirits of heaven shall be in heaven, but upon earth shall be the habitation of terrestrial spirits, who were born on earth. The spirits of the giants [Nephilim] shall be like clouds, which oppress, fall, contend, and bruise those upon earth.”

Having an origin from the sons of Elohim, these giants, once drown in the Flood, or killed after the Flood in their second irruption (Genesis 6:4), their spirits apparently remained active — unlike those of normal people at death, which spirits “sleep” — and crave to inhabit something living, if not susceptible people then even animals, such as pigs (Matthew 8:30-32). Jesus explained,

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first” (Luke 11:24-26).

While the Book of Enoch is not canonized Scripture, the demons being spirits of the deceased Nephilim holds some credence. We are not told in the New Testament where they came from, but we are told that a major reason for Jesus’ coming to earth was to destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8), and cast them out of people, besides heal the sick, raise the dead (Matthew 10:8), and preach the good news of the coming kingdom of God (Matthew 4:23). Furthermore, a major reason for Israel to exterminate the tribes of Canaan was to remove these Nephilimfrom the face of the earth, who had gained residence among these tribes (Deuteronomy 20:16-18).

Thus, it is not always Satan per se who afflicts and possesses people, but oftentimes one of his minions: evil angels or evil sons of God. These evil spirits have for millennia been thought to contribute to diseases — both physical and mental — and various abberations in personalities. The affected person must effectively give up his or her own will, or at least a part of it, and allow the evil entity to enter and take over the activities of the person. We know this because James stated, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7), and Peter warned, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith …” (I Peter 5:8-9). The will of the person must be compromised in some way — drugs, alcohol, poor nutrition, toxic environment, or even familial spirits that are passed along within families — so the will is turned over to the spirit that seeks a residence. There is evidence that most leaders of this world are in some way direct descendants of the sons of Elohim through the Nephilim. This assumes that some of these crossbreds were not entirely wiped out by the Israelites in Canaan, and that some of them escaped to other parts of the world. As David Ike has stated in his book Children of the Matrix,

“As my research has revealed, the world is controlled by entities taking reptilian and other forms that exist on another dimension or ‘cycle.’ We are in the third dimension or density, they operate from the fourth, a frequency just outside the present range of the physical senses. We can feel the fourth density as ‘vibes’ around us, but we cannot see it …. The ‘headquarters’ of the serpent race I am exposing here is the lower end of the fourth-dimensional frequency range, which vibrates very close to this one. It is on the very fringe of our physical senses. It is what you might call a parallel universe or a parallel Earth, a mirror of the one we see but vibrating at a different speed …. This was achieved by creating bloodlines that fused their reptilian [Nephilim] DNA with that of humans. There bloodlines have a genetic, therefore vibrational, compatibility between the fourth-dimensional reptilians and their third-dimensional ‘human’ forms …. It is to retain this genetic structure that the Illuminati bloodlines have always interbred with each other and continue to do so. It means that if they can manipulate these bloodlines into the positions of power, they are, in effect, putting themselves into those positions through their control of these bodies from the lower fourth dimension. This is the reason that the genealogy of those in the major seats of global power today can be traced back to the royal lines — the Anunnaki [Nephilim] hybrids — that ruled Sumer, Egypt, and so on.”

Since Satan is working to establish his government throughout the world, he is either influencing or possessing leaders in positions of great influence. Let us examine some of the world’s most malevolent leaders whose activities have resulted in multiple millions of deaths and injuries, and incalculable damage to families, communities, and nations, and their homes and industries.

Adolph Hitler. The Nazi Party was in reality the offspring of the German secret societies (OTO, or Order of Oriental Templars, The Thule Society, and the Vril Society). These all dealt with the occult and black magic, and members used channeling and seances to accrue their “secret wisdom” from the spirit world. Although not recorded in history books, the black occult and secret societies played a major role in Nazi policy and the start of World War I and World War II. Even the Nuremburg trials failed to mention this Satanism as a cause of Nazi behavior, preferring instead to attribute such cruel consequences as “mass mental aberration.”

Hitler’s aide Hermann Rauschning, in his book Hitler Speaks, describes the trance that Hitler entered when he spoke during various political rallies. Hitler was termed a medium for spirits, and was possessed by them. According to Rauschning, 

“One cannot help thinking of him as medium. For most of the time, mediums are ordinary, insignificant people. Suddenly, they are endowed with what seems to be supernatural powers, which sets them apart from the rest of humanity. The medium is possessed. Once the crisis is passed, they fall back again into mediocrity. It was in this way, beyond any doubt, that Hitler was possessed by forces outside of himself — almost demonical forces of which the individual man Hitler was only a temporary vehicle. The mixture of the banal and the supernatural created that insupportable duality of which power was conscious in his presence …. It was like looking at a bizarre face whose expression seemed to reflect an unbalanced state of mind coupled with a disquieting impression of hidden powers.”

Rauschning also stated that Hitler told him that he suffered many terrible nightmares, and that he would wake up screaming in terror speaking about spirits. Hitler also told him that he saw a “new man” in his dreams. “He is intrepid and cruel. I was afraid of him.”

Trevor Ravenscroft’s book Spear of Destiny says the following about the dark forces of Hitler “Rauschning himself knew only too well that Hitler had abandoned himself to forces — which were carrying him away —forces of dark and destructive violence!” Hitler undoubtedly was possessed by the devil, perhaps fully at times, to enable him to act and speak as he did, and end up killing multiple millions.

Joseph Stalin. Stalin ruled Russia from 1924 to 1953. During his time as prime minister he killed about 60 million people, an inhumane feat that can be understood only in terms of demonic, Satanic disdain for life. Many associates and relatives of Stalin confirm that he was possessed. In the book Marx and Satan by Richard Wurmbrand, we read the following.

“Stalin’s daughter Svetlana Alliluyeva said that a terrible demon had possession of Stalin. She wrote: ‘Beria (the Soviet minister of interior) seemed to have had a diabolic link with all our family …. Beria was a frightening, wicked demon …. A terrible demon had taken possession of my father’s soul.’”

“The secretary of the Communist International allied himself with Stalin in the struggle with Trotsky and others in the 1920s. After Lenin died he wrote the following about Stalin: ‘He is not a man, but a devil.’”

“Stalin Kaganovitch, Stalin’s brother-in-the-law, wrote the following in his diary: ‘I started to understand how Stalin managed to make himself a god. He did not have a single human characteristic …. Even when he exhibited some emotions, they did not seem to belong to him ….’”

“Stalin wanted to be worshiped as God, demonstrating what spirit was indeed leading and guiding him.”

Karl Marx. Marx, the modern founder of Communist idealogy, was an avowed atheist and evolutionist, but even more he was a Satanist. Again quoting from Richard Wurmbrand’s book Marx and Stalin,

“He had no vision of serving mankind, the proletarian, or socialism. He merely wished to bring the world to ruins, to build himself a throne whose bulwark will be human fear.”

“The idea of God is the key-note of a perverted civilization. It must be destroyed ….”

“Quote from a little known play of Marx entitled Oulanem: ‘If there is Something which devours, I’ll leap within it, though I bring the world to ruins. The world which bulks between me and the abyss I will smash to pieces with my enduring curses. I’ll throw my arms around its harsh reality, embracing me, the world will dumbly pass away, and then sink down to utter nothingness, perished, with no existence that would be really living.’”

“Mikhail Bakunin, a friend of Marx and Russian anarchist, shows the connection between Socialist and Satanism by stating the following: ‘The Evil One is the Satanic revolt against divine authority, revolt in which we see the fecund germ of all human emancipations, the revolution. Satan [is] the eternal rebel, the first thinker and the emancipator of worlds. He makes man ashamed of his bestial ignorance and obedience; he emancipates him, stamps upon his brow the seal liberty and humanity, urging him to disobey and eat the fruit of knowledge.’”

“Another one of Marx’s friends was a French Socialist, Pierre Proudhon, who wrote in his book Philosophy of Misery, ‘Come Satan, slandered by the small and by kings. God is stupidity and cowardice; God is hypocrisy and falsehood; God is tyranny and poverty; God is Evil. … I swear, God, with my hand stretched out towards the heavens, that you are nothing more than the executioner of my reason, the scepter of my conscience…. God is essentially anticivilized, antiliberal, and antihuman.’”

King Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar of ancient Babylon was a pompous leader, amongst whom he was so typical in the gentile world. As we read in Daniel 3, he had a great image about 100 feet tall erected in the plain of Dura. He then invited all of the governors, counselors, magistrates, judges, and other powerful men of the kingdom to attend the dedication of this image. Once the music began playing they were all instructed to fall down and worship the idol or be cast into a fiery furnace. Talk about coercive totalitarianism! He was the ultimate dictator; history does indeed repeat itself. Of course, we know the story of how Shadrach, Meshech, and Abednego refused to bow down to this lifeless idol, were thrown into the fiery furnace and saved from incineration by almighty God.

Then we are given a powerful documentary by King Nebuchadnezzar himself after he explained how Daniel the prophet interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s vision of the tree that reached to heaven, that sheltered man and beast over the earth. The king was told to “break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor” (Daniel 4:27). However, the king, in his pride, after a year,

“… was walking about the royal palace in Babylon. The king spoke, saying, ‘Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” (Daniel 4:30).

This arrogant king immediately lost his sanity and became like an animal, living like the cattle for seven years until he learned the lesson that almighty God does exactly as He wills both in heaven and on earth, and no one can restrain His hand. While the devil gave him his selfish, hedonistic spirit — perhaps he was even possessed at times — he learned through his insanity that the Creator was really in charge. Thus he could conclude, “Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down” (Daniel 4:37).

Klaus Schwab. The leader of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Klaus Schwab embodies the highest of standards for someone who appears to be an angel of light, but represents the epitome of dark agendas: the foundation of a New World Order encompassing all nations on earth through what Schwab terms The Great Reset. He is in reality carrying forward the occult Nazi agenda politically, despite the military loss of Hitler in World War II, but using the European Union, Rothschild and other bankers, and a host of other wealthy industrial and media supporters to first unite Europe, and then the world under WEF control. This consolidation of power would involve enlisting the United Nations and its worldwide tentacles to override the independence of nation states.

Schwab was born in Ravensburg, Germany in 1938, and is a child of Adolf Hitler’s Germany, a police state regime built on fear and violence, on brainwashing and control, on propaganda and lies, on industrialism and eugenics, on dehumanization and “disinfection” on a chilling and grand vision of a new order. Schwab hides his history and that of his father’s connections to the “National Socialist Model Company.” Klaus Schwab’s father Eugen was a manager of the Swiss-German company, Escher-Wyss, in Ravensburg. Hitler’s Nazi party awarded the Escher-Wyss Ravensburg plant the title of “National Socialist Model Society” while Schwab was at the helm.

When the war began there were many dark things going on in Ravensburg. Eugen Schwab continued to run the “National Socialist Model Company” for Escher-Wyss, and the Swiss company would help the Nazi Navy produce important weapons of war and other basic weapons. Horrific Nazi crimes against humanity took place in Ravensburg. On January 1, 1934, the “Law for the Prevention of Hereditary Diseases” went into effect, meaning people with diseases such as dementia, schizophrenia, epilepsy, hereditary deafness, and various mental disorders could be legally forced to be sterilized. In the Ravensburg City Hospital, forced sterilizations were performed starting in April 1934. By 1936, sterilization was the most frequently performed medical procedure in the municipal hospital. At the Escher-Wyss factory in Ravensburg, Eugen Schwab was putting nearly 3,600 forced workers to work at his model Nazi company.

The use of masses of forced laborers in Ravensburg made it necessary to set up one of the largest recorded Nazi forced labor camps. Klaus Schwab knew very well what his father was doing, and he never distanced himself from his father’s crimes, but continued where his father had left off in the 1940s. Now Schwab, along with his associates, is attempting to lock up the whole world to finally realize the dreams of his father and the Nazi regime.

Controlling the Narrative

In order to move Satan’s one-world agenda forward in this end-time — he being the “prince of the power of the air [-waves] (Ephesians 2:2) — it is essential that he control the narrative of information disseminated throughout the world to gain broad support. He does this through what is termed “mass formation psychosis.”

According to Dr. Mattias Desmet, this form of hypnosis — the “madness of crowds” — can account for about 20 to 30% of the population becoming entranced into believing lies that are propagated and enforced by politicians, science bureaucrats, and the media.

In the case of the recent Covid-19 situation, what one observes with mass hypnosis is a large fraction of the population completely unable to process new scientific data and facts demonstrating that they have been misled about the effectiveness and adverse impacts of mandatory mask use, lockdowns, and genetic vaccines that cause people’s bodies to make large amounts of biologically active coronavirus spike protein. As Dr. Robert Malone put it,

“Those hypnotized by this process are unable to recognize the lies and misrepresentations they are being bombarded with on a daily basis, and actively attack anyone who has the temerity to share information with them which contradicts the propaganda that they have come to embrace. And for those whose families and social networks have been torn apart by this process, and who find that close relatives and friends have ghosted them because they question the officially endorsed ‘truth’ and are actually following the scientific literature, this can be a source of deep anguish,sorrow, and psychological pain.”

The Devil readily uses this mass formation psychosis to move as many people as possible to his distorted way of thinking, to cause family divisions, and destroy friendships. This “mass formation psychosis,” as Dr. Desmet calls it, is perhaps better termed “crowd psychosis.” This condition blooms when there is a lack of social connectedness — as during lockdowns — and when little sense is gathered from the decisions of those in authority. Fear and anxiety towards some crisis, such as a disease that may kill them, forces many people to group together to battle the object with a collective singlemindedness. This allows them to stop focusing on their own problems and mental anguish, and instead focus on the new object. Over time, the group becomes increasingly bonded, their field of attention is narrowed, and they become unable to consider alternative points of view. Leaders of the movement are revered, such as Anthony Fauci with the recent Covid-19 crisis.

A society under the spell of mass formation will support a totalitarian governmental structure, which is exactly what the devil wants to bring all possible people to his side. Unlike “group think,” which allows for dissenting views and changes in belief, mass formation hypnotizes the crowd, which then cannot break free of the narrative. The people affected are unable to evaluate new information rationally. Such is what happened in Germany during the Nazi regime’s feeding of information to a highly educated public. In the face of war fears, Hitler and his propaganda machine continually pumped out new information to further hypnotize the German people.

Studies have shown that with mass formation psychosis 30% of the population is brainwashed, hypnotized, and indoctrinated by the group narrative. About 40% in the middle are persuadable and can break away from the hypnosis if given a worthy alternative. However, 30% of the people will fight against the false narrative. This 30% that rebels becomes the enemy of the brainwashed 30%, and the primary target of aggression, exactly as Satan would have it.

By speaking out against the false narrative with truth that conflicts with it, the rebels can help break the hypnosis of some of the persuadable 40%, as well as a few of the 30% who are fully indoctrinated. Truth wins over mindless error in the end. That is what the devil tries to suppress by censoring the truth in the media and social platforms … by isolating people so they cannot add any fuel to their reason.

Moreover, with a strong mass formation psychosis such as Covid-19, according to Dr. Desmet the only way to break out of the hypnotic trance is to give the crowd something bigger to focus on. That bigger something now appears to be war in Eastern Europe, which will allow for governments to even further restrict the freedoms of people beyond the lockdowns, business closures, church closings, and masking that characterized the Constitution-destroying Covid-19 debacle. The adversary is incessantly pushing the world’s population towards a totalitarian regime that will involve a digital banking system tied to implanted microchips — tying the human being to the machine, as it were. We read of this system, and the man that presides over it, in Revelation 13:15-18.

“He [the beast having two horns like a lamb, but speaking like a dragon] was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: his number is 666.”

Have We Found the Beast?

In a 2016 interview, Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), stated that within the next ten years a “global health pass” microchip will be unveiled, which will track and control all of humanity. Asked by an interviewer when these implantable chips would be required, he replied, “Certainly in the next ten years. And at first we will implant them in our clothes, and then we could imagine that we will implant them in our brains, or in our skin.” According to Schwab, as a part of the worldwide “Great Reset” all people would be required to be microchipped to buy or sell goods.

In the interview, Schwab described the transhumanist dream of the globalists to fuse consciousness with the digital world … a world in which no natural human beings with their original DNA would exist. He concluded, “And in the end, maybe, there will be a direct communication between our brains and the digital world. What we see is a kind of fusion of the physical, digital, and biological worlds.”

Yet, there is another personality behind Klaus Schwab, a man named Yuval Noah Harari. Professor of history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, this 2002 graduate of the University of Oxford co-founded “Sapienship, a multi-disciplinary organization advocating for global responsibility whose mission is to clarify the public conversation, support the quest for solutions, and focus attention on the most important challenges facing the world today (technological disruption, ecological collapse, and the nuclear threat).” A prolific author and speaker, he is the top advisor to Klaus Schwab and the WEF. His beliefs are quite disturbing, rooted in a god complex.

• “History began when humans invented god, and will end when humans become gods.”
• ”Humans are now hackable animals. The whole idea that humans have this ‘soul’ or ‘spirit,’ and nobody knows what’s happening inside them, and they have free will — that’s over.”
•  “Data might enable human elites to do something even more radical than just build digital dictatorships. By hacking organisms, elites may gain the power to re-engineer the future of life itself, because once you hack something you can usually engineer it.”

This dark personality thinks he can become god — claiming there is no true God — and that the superior “elites” will re-engineer the inferior rest of humanity to be compliant robots of this superior race of people. Is not this the attitude Paul expressed in II Thessalonians 2, when he states,

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming” (II Thessalonians 2:7-8).

While neither Klaus Schwab nor Yuval Harari are likely the actual “man of sin” and “son of perdition” spoken of in II Thessalonians 2:3, or the king who will “exalt and magnify himself above every god … [and] speak blasphemies against the God of gods” (Daniel 11:36), these people certainly exemplify the character of the evil one who is about to unleash havoc upon the earth. Unless those days would be shortened there would be no flesh saved upon the earth (Matthew 24:22).

Satan’s Last Effort

While the devil has been thrusting forward his efforts to rule the worl throughout history — as discussed earlier, beginning with Nimrod at Babel this side of the Flood — he is pulling out all of the stops to create a one-world government today. One can trace the histories of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome to view world-ruling governments that were pictured by the great image dreamed by Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2. The image’s head was of gold, the chest and arms of silver, the belly and thighs of bronze, and the legs of iron, with the feet partly of iron and partly of clay. This image pictured the four great kingdoms that have ruled the earth to the present day, Rome being the final worldwide power, having legs of iron and, in the end-time, will be partly of iron and partly of clay. This kingdom will be divided, and be partly strong and partly fragile (Daniel 2:40-43).

In the days of these kingdoms comprising the feet of the image, the God of heaven will set up the kingdom that is prophesied in Revelation 19 and 20. This Kingdom will demolish all of the other kingdoms that have conspired with Satan over the millennia, as graphically pointed out in Daniel 2:34-35. The cultures of each grow into one another as the centuries passed.

“You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain [government of God] and filled the whole earth.” 

This great and brutal end-time beast is depicted in Revelation 13, as we just saw, who deceives most people to receive the mark of the beast on their forehead or right hand. The kingdom of this beast must endure the horrible bowls poured out on the earth in Revelation 16. The end-time great harlot that sits on many waters (people of the world’s nations) is shown astride a scarlet beast having seven heads and ten horns (Revelation 17:3). This Satanic worldwide regime was replete with great physical wealth, but with despicable morals and lawlessness, while it reveled in the persecution and destruction of the saints. The woman — symbol of an ecclesiastical authority — is shown sitting on and thus directing the civil governments of this great end-time combine of nations. The devil is behind them both. It is his last major effort to capture and destroy mankind, whom he holds under the spell of fear and mass formation psychosis to follow him rather than the Creator.

The great men of the earth are the shippers, the merchandisers, those who ply the oceans with cargoes of just about every commodity: gold, silver, clothing, metals, spices, animals, machinery … even slaves and children (Revelation 18:12-13). Witness the recent grounding of the container ship Ever Given in the Suez Canel, which purportedly contained hundreds of children, some found alive and others who had died. This is a repeat of the initial sin of Lucifer himself in Eden, when he was found to be merchandising (Ezekiel 28:16, 18).

We know the conclusion of this attempt of Satan to usurp the Father’s plan of installing the millennial Eden by placing his own government and economy on earth. The effort ends up badly.

“Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into to the sea, saying, ‘Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore’” (Revelation 18:21).

Besides, the armies of the beast and false prophet will be destroyed in the last great battle with Jesus Christ and the saints and heavenly hosts (Revelation 19:11-21). The Father, Christ, and the saints will be victorious.

The Limits of Satan’s Power

We have already discussed some of the limits of what the devil is allowed to do on this earth. We have seen that he assumed Job would curse God if his physical possessions and family were removed, or if his body was wracked with disease and pain (Job 1:9-11; 2:4-5). God would not allow total destruction of Job and his wife, and was mistaken about the integrity and commitment of this patriarch in the face of tragedy. The devil’s comprehension of the power of God’s spirit working within the elect is seriously limited; he views life through the perverted lens of a tormented soul himself, sold out to lawlessness and unable to comprehend the power of righteous living … and the reality of the Eternal’s saving grace.

Likewise, we have mentioned how the saints limit — yes, even stop in its tracks — the power that Satan has over an individual. “Resist the devil and he will flee from you,” said Christ’s brother in James 1:7, advice repeated by Peter in I Peter 1:9. This resistance is tied to suffering, as James made plain in verse 7, since fighting such an evil force is a war requiring much personal energy and dedication to the Eternal, who helps us fight our battles.

“But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings …” (Hebrews 10:32).

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (I Corinthians 10:13).

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

 In spite of limits to Satan’s power, he is highly capable of influencing people and turning the affections of individuals and nations … a matter we have already discussed. So effective are these capabilities that he has made great strides towards formulating a world government; he actually has attempted to forge such governments throughout history … first at the Tower of Babel this side of the Flood, and then through the governments of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. Let’s briefly examine these efforts by Satan and his willing minions to formulate a new world order.

1. Roman Catholicism and the United Nations. Formed through the syncretism of pagan Mithraism and true Christianity, beginning shortly after the establishment of the New Testament ecclesia, the Roman Catholic Church is the power focus of a three-part system that controls 80% of the world’s wealth. Together with great banking establishments and the United Nations, three small, independent states have been established: the City of London (the financial center), the Vatican (the religious center), and the District of Columbia (the military center). The agenda of this tripartate world government nucleus is the following.

• Pursue climate change
• Control the money of all nations through a Federal Reserve type of banking system
• Promote pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines to weaken people and alter their judgment
• Abolish property rights under the guise of “environmentalism” to control the earth’s resources
• Develop a one-world currency
• Increase national indebtedness, to make nations subservient to the owners of the banking system; “The borrower is the servant of the lender” (Proverbs 22:7)
• Institute wars, thus enriching bankers on both sides of the conflict and helping reduce world population

The United Nations is closely affiliated with the Vatican, Washington D. C., and the City of London in achieving the goal of one-world government through the powers of money, the military, and religion.

2. Islam. Created by the Roman Catholic Church, where a wealthy Arabin affiliate of the Church discovered Mohammad and helped prepare him for his mission, the new religion and its massive armies conquered Arabia, North Africa, and much of the Middle East, thus subduing the Jews, Sabbatarian Christian and others who opposed the Roman Catholic dogma. Over time, emboldened with military conquests, Islamic generals rebelled against the Catholics and began their own vendetta of conquering the world, even eyeing Europe for conquest. Thus, the Pope, claiming that Europe was his domain, arranged for the Crusades to hold the Muslim armies at bay. The European advance was stopped at Vienna when  John III Sobieski and allies defeated Mustafa Pasha on September 12, 1683. 

3. Communism. Karl Marx, the Khazarian Jewish inventor of modern-day Communism, worked closely with Frederick Engels in the mid-1800s to write a prescription for a world society in Das Kapital. He fostered the idea that the proletariat (working class) should be victorious over the bourgeois (leaders), all private property must be abolished, workers across the globe must unite to create a world system, and religion ought to be removed, it being the “opiate of the people.” Interestingly, the Democratic Party of the United States and the World Economic Form both parrot most principles of Communism. It is an interesting fact that most of the major banking, industry, media, and entertainment moguls are Khazarian Jews, people who have descended from various Turkish tribes mixed with Esau’s genetics, he being the twin brother and enemy of Jacob, from whom the Anglo-Saxon people have descended. This tension between Esau and Jacob has continued throughout the centuries as Esau vies with his brother for the birthright he lost for a bowl of lentil soup (Genesis 27), just as Communism vies with capitalism for the economic/social system by which people should live.

4. Zionism. While originally Zionism was an international political movement to support the establishment of a homeland for Jews in Palestine, over time this movement has transitioned into an effort by Khazarian Jews to create a world-dominating empire under their control. We have already seen that these Turkish Jews, who adopted the religion of Talmudic Judaism, came from the lineage of Esau, Jacob’s twin brother, and is mixed with Mongolian, Hittite, and Ishmaelite genes. These people comprise over 80% of modern Jewry, being quite distinct from the Sephardic Jews, who are descendants of the tribe of Judah. These Khazarian Jews have  become leaders in banking, industry, entertainment, and the media, one of whom is Klaus Schwab, founder and managing director of the World Economic Forum (WEF). This group has initiated a program to “improve capitalism” through its now famous plan, the “Great Reset.” This plan resembles Communism in many ways, where property is owned by the State, the government controls by regulation virtually every facet of living for the masses, and the wealthy few rule in a totalitarian, fascistic manner. The WEF plans to achieve the “you’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy” system by 2030. The Covid-19 lockdowns, jabs, masks, and other mandates are in effect conditioning for the more stringent control measures to be implanted soon. Besides, the WEF is behind efforts to implement the Protocols of Zion, a document that essentially outlines what has already been discussed, and is being promoted by hundreds of world leaders who have attended leadership seminars conducted by the WEF. A few of these leaders are  Emmanuel Macron of France, Angela Merkel of Germany, Tony Blair of Britain, Gavin Newsom of California, and Justin Trudeau of Canada.

5. Freemasonry and the Illuminati. The goals of these two entities are similar, and tie in with and overlap several other one-world movements. Freemasonry is a focus of organized occultism and secret societies whose efforts flow from Gnosticism. Their doctrines originated with Plato, Philo, the Kabbalah, and the sacred books of India and Egypt. The forces of occultism were organized around these doctrines in an effort to gain world control. Posing as Christian, the Masons and Illuminists secretly worship Satan. Many leaders in governments around the world are attempting to force political, economic, religious, social, legal, and environmental unification, and the Freemasons and Illuminati have helped build an infrastructure ready to function in unity once the prophesied charismatic world leader arises.

6. Fourth Reich. In many ways what we see forming around the world is a continuing effort of Nazi survivors to build a world-ruling empire. Leaders in industry from Germany, as well as war heroes like Werner Von Braun, have continued to build the power of Germany, while being the chief power of the European Union. Coupled with the Vatican, the World Economic Forum, and other forces the Germans have not let go of their aspirations to be the “master race” that rules the world.

7. Corporations. There are many multinational corporations in the world that control a high proportion of transactions dealing with money, social media, food, grains, agri-chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petroleum products, clothing, cars and trucks … just about every item one can imagine. Of the 43,000 transnational corporations, only 147 control 40% of their assets. These corporations are interconnected, especially through banking entities. While the functions of these huge mega-businesses are not one-world oriented per se, they can and do throw their power and funding towards political ends, encouraging favored candidates through controlled media and campaign contributions that influence the course of nations. Also, corporate elites often play games of “musical chairs” with government regulatory agencies to profit the corporations through influencing decisions that favor them.

8. The 13 families. Certain super-rich families wield an incredible amount of power within the economies of all nations. This power is concentrated primarily through banks, which the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, and others use to influence, directly or indirectly, the operations of governments, industry, media, and agriculture. It has been said that only 1% of the elite 1% super-rich control world events. The Rothschild dynasty is by all means the most powerful visible family, with an estimated wealth of some $500 trillion. This family owns most central banks across the globe, claims to have financed both sides of every war since Napoleon, owns the media and petroleum interests, and controls much of what occurs within governments. These families operate through the “world banking empire” that includes the City of London and the U. S. Federal Reserve Bank. Their influence on the education systems have been profound, focusing on memorization of facts and “thinking inside the box,” while promoting obedience to government based on fear of death (Hebrews 2:15)

God’s Plan to Destroy Satan’s Kingdom

We are witnessing today the fulfillment of prophecies which point to the ascendancy of Babylon in all of its perverse glory: a woman [religious leader] sitting on a scarlet beast [secular leader] having seven heads and ten horns.

“The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” (Revelation 17:3-5).

The woman is symbolic of a religious system, and she sits on a beast, symbolic of a fierce, destructive governmental system. The beast is identified with seven “mountains.” Rome, the location of the Vatican, has long been known as the “city of seven hills” or mountains, and the Greek word for mountain is oros, meaning a hill as much as a mountain, “as lifting itself above the plain.” Thus, Scripture identifies this whore who sits on the beast as the Roman Catholic Church, perhaps the pope himself. The seven heads also refer to seven kings — in this case possibly successive Roman governments through history. At the time of John’s writing the sixth form of government, the imperial form, was in place; later came the papal type of the seven forms: kingly, consular, decemvirate, dictatorial, triumvirate, imperial, and papal.

Another interpretation of the seven heads could be seven consecutive world-governing empires: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon (a lion in Daniel 7:4), Medo-Persia (a bear in Daniel 7:5), Greece (a leopard in Daniel 7:6), Rome, and a future revived Roman Empire. Whether one accepts the successive types of Roman government or the succesive world-ruling empire interpretation, the result is the same: at the end there will be a revived Papal Rome, and a ten-nation federation of some sort.

The ten horns of Revelation 17:12 may refer to the ten kingdoms that arose out of the Roman Empire, as referred to in Daniel 7:7: the Huns, Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Franks, Vandals, Suevi, Burgundians, Heruli, Anglo-Saxons, and Lombards. Thus, the seven heads are successive, while the ten horns are contemporaneous.

On another level, the ten horns may represent the ten contemporaneous divisions of the earth’s nations as mapped out by the United Nations. These are North America Union, European Union, Japan, Pacific Union, Asia Cooperation Dialogue, South American Union, Arab Union, African Economic Community, and China.

The devil, in his insane desire to create a kingdom over all the earth that mimics the one that the Father will create, is pulling out all of the stops to bring this perverse New World Order, under the auspices of the Great Reset, to reality. He is bringing together the forces of the Roman Catholic and Protestant Churches, the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, Islam, Communism, Zionism, Freemasonry, corporate power, and the ultra-wealthy families to create this monstrosity that is prophesied to prevail for a short time. There will be considerable infighting amongst the many factions within these groups as sociopathic, psychopathic, power-hungry leaders fight for position in this New World Order. After all, many evil spirits will be involved in this evil takeover, and their jealousies, hatred, pride, and contentions will spill over into fractures and instability within the coming alliance. The devil will not be able to contain all of these divisions, for as Jesus Christ stated,

“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. If Satan also is divided against himself, how will the kingdom stand?” (Luke 11:17-18).

Here is a prophecy showing the demise of the devil’s kingdom. A house divided against itself cannot stand. We read about the destruction of this evil, lawless kingdom of Satan in Revelation.

“After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird. For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury …. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her …. Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her …. And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore …. The merchants of those things who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping, and wailing …. For in one hour such great riches came to nothing. Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance ….’ Then a mightly angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, ‘Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore’” (Revelation 18:1-3, 6, 8, 11, 15, 17, 21).

The devil’s kingdom comes to a crashing end. Yet, after that great fall the beast and false prophet will wage war against Jesus Christ and the saints, and will be utterly defeated.

“Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence …. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh” (Revelation 19:20-21).

The beast and false prophet will be utterly destroyed. There is no coming back for them, but the armies who fought for them, who were killed in the final battle, will be raised as flesh and blood in the second resurrection, along with everyone else through history who was not called to be firstfruits in the first resurrection (Revelation 20:4-5, 11-15).

The devil, however, will be thrown into the bottomless pit [abussos, “depthless, abyss, profoundly deep”] where he will be bound and shut up for 1,000 years; a seal [sphragizo, “a stamp for preservation’] will be set upon him so he will not deceive [planao, “to roam from safety, truth, or virtue”] the nations for that millennium (Revelation 20:1-3). After that thousand years of imprisonment Satan will be released, whereupon he will deceive the nations — Gog and Magog — who will fight against the saints and Jerusalem, but be devoured by fire from heaven (Revelation 20:7-9).

What happens to the devil at that point is the same fate as occurred to the beast and false prophet: incineration in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10). This will be total destruction of this false god of evil who has been responsible for death, diseases, wars, famines, societal breakup, and every other calamity on earth since his first sin of merchandising (Ezekiel 28:16-18).

How is it possible that this great evil son of Elohim can be burned up and utterly destroyed? Here is what I believe will happen. After Satan is released from the bottomless pit (Revelation 20:7), and fights against God’s people, he will be given an ultimatum by his loving Creator: either renounce his wicked ways, or be cast once again into the bottomless pit. He will refuse to repent and follow his Creator’s ways from being so long a convert to evil, so will willingly opt for destruction. However, spirit cannot be destroyed in its spirit state. How can he be burned up?

The answer is given in Ezekiel 28:18, in the same place where his first sin of merchandising is revealed.

“You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your trading; therefore I brought fire from your midst; it devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you.”

Satan will willingly manifest himself in the physical realm, as flesh and blood, and in that state he will be able to be destroyed. This is the same way that the other wicked people will be destroyed.

“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble, and the day which is coming shall burn them up …. ‘You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,’ says the Lord of hosts” (Malachi 4:1, 3).

Some individuals are “born wicked” (Psalm 58:3), and Paul stated that our Creator made some people wicked, for reasons He has not disclosed.

“Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory …” (Romans 9:21-23).

The clear implication of Romans 9:23 is that the righteous are made as vessels of mercy who will be resurrected to eternal life … versus the wicked who are prepared for destruction, with no such resurrection. We are not told why this is, only that the wicked, formed as a potter forms a vessel from clay, are here for a purpose, but will for some reason not repent. Without repentance and God’s spirit there can be no eternal life (Hebrews 6:1-2).

To support the fact that Satan will be utterly destroyed, note that the same fate for Satan is given as for Adam in Genesis 3:14 and 17.

“So the Lord God said to the serpent [nachash, ‘Satan’], ‘Because you have done this you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life’…. Then to Adam He said, ‘Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, “You shall not eat of it,” cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.’”

Adam lived for 900 years; sin brought death. Likewise for the serpent, sin will bring death ultimately, for he was given the same pronouncement as was Adam: “… all the days of your life.” Satan has lived nearly 6,000 years since this pronouncement was made, but Scripture prophesied he would die, as Adam died.

The Devil Will Not Prevail

With Satan destroyed, the way will be paved for a New World Order of Righteousness, the one prophesied to return Edenic conditions to the earth. Scripture is replete with prophesies about the nature of this new world, a topic I cover in depth in my book The Bridge to Eden. This is the time forecast to arrive on earth by Isaiah and all of the prophets.

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind …. They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit …. for as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, and My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them …. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, the lion shall eat straw [teben, “fodder or grass”] like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain” (Isaiah 65:17, 21 – 23, 25).

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing [anapsuxis, ‘revival, relief, to cool off’] may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you, before, whom heaven must receive until the times [chronos, ‘interval of time’] of restoration [apokatastasis, ‘reconstitution’] of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:19-21).

The new age is promised! After Satan’s banishment to the bottomless pit, a thousand years of peace, prosperity, beauty, productivity, and love will grace the earth (Revelation 20:4) … the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, alongside the firstfruits who will be raised at the first resurrection (I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:13-17). This time period will be the “times of refreshing” and “restoration” as revealed by Peter in Acts 3, a literal return of Edenic conditions, this time across all the earth! Even as “all things have become new” for the newly raised saints at the resurrection (II Corinthians 5:17), so all things will become new for a refurbished earth: its land, atmosphere, light quality, water canopy, climate, plant and animal species, and all things.

The devil knows his fate. He also knows of the prophesied world to come. Yet, in his incorrigible jealousy and hatred toward his brother Jesus Christ and the saints, he is blinded to the truth: “He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him … for he is a liar and the father of it” (John 8:44).

By not accepting truth, anyone — the devil included — will become deceived by most anything, and will refuse to face reality … rather, will construct one’s own reality that fits one’s own deceptions.

So, we see all around us today a society based on lies and deception. I will state a few of these lies below that come to mind.

• Good is made to be evil, and evil good (Isaiah 5:20).
• Sweet, sugary, chemical-laced, refined foods are healthful.
• Climate warming is going to kill us all.
• Critical race theory is the reality of our nation’s founding, which requires a “cancel culture” approach to education.
• You should accept government control over every aspect of your life.
• Living together before marriage — or not marrying at all — is as good as marriage.
• A father and mother are not necessary to raise healthy children.
• You can define whichever sex you want to be just by thinking about it.
• Big is better, especially with corporations and governments.
• Drugs are better than good nutrition for health.
• Living in a city, dependent on others, is better than living independently in the country.
• Getting vaccinated for most every disease is better than building strong immunity, and allowing the body to heal disease through a strong immune system.
• Pedophilia is good and should be made legal, as should prostitution.
• Becoming addicted to cell phones is a good thing.
• The main stream media can be relied upon for truth, and mass formation psychosis is a conspiracy theory.
• Being fruitful, multiplying, and replenishing the earth is a dangerous idea and should be replaced with childbearing limits.
• The earth should be limited to only perhaps 500 million people; the rest should be “reduced” in some way, through birth control, vaccines, war, disease, and famine.
• Violence and destruction of other people’s property by organizations that are fighting for “change” (ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, etc.) are acceptable and honorable.
• Life begins at birth, and can be terminated at any time during pregnancy.
• It is fine for the less fortunate to steal from those who have plenty.
• The great people of society are those who are rich and well-known.
• * The Bible is a collection of outdated stories and fables written by people to glorify a certain ethnic group.
• Do whatever makes you feel good, as long as it does not hurt anybody else.
• People and their organizations can figure out ways to solve their own problems; they do not need a Biblical God to guide them.
• Society needs to grant special privileges to those who are repressed, like blacks and Hispanics.
• Any type of sexuality is equally correct: homosexuality, bestiality, incest, transgenderism, or anything else.

Many other lies that are being promoted nowadays could be added to this list. Anything that conflicts with “God’s word is truth” (John 17:17) is fair game for the devil’s world, for he is lawless, the champion of sin … and “sin is the transgression of the law” (I John 3:4).

As we see the increase of wickedness all around us, we can be assured that we are indeed living in the last days of this age. We can also be assured that all of this evil will not prosper for long, but the Eternal Living God will send Jesus Christ to save mankind from annihilation and establish the kingdom of God on this earth. The false kingdom of the false Messiah will come crashing down, for it is built on a foundation of sand, which the crashing waves of the Eternal’s power will sweep away. The devil’s kingdom will receive its just recompense; its doom is assured. Let us all pray for that day of deliverance of this world from the decay that the devil has delivered, and stand strong in the faith of our Creator who will stand by us — and within us — so we will endure to the end!
