God’s Incredible Care for Us!
A Study Outline
I. It is so easy to think of ourselves as being worthless and in consequential in this world. This message is advertised all around us in Satan’s world.
A. Science tells us we are a product of random evolution … a tiny, insignificant speck in the universe.
B. Governments give you a number as part of a massive, faceless, heartless dictatorship.
C. Advertising tells you to buy, buy, buy, and your worth is measured in terms of money; if you don’t have it you are worthless.
D. If you are a home-schooler, believe in the constitution, believe in free speech, and are against abortion and homosexuality you are labeled a terrorist, and worthy of being watched.
II. Yet, our Creator has chosen us to be Kings and Priests!
A. I Peter 2;9-10.
B. Revelation 1:5-6.
C. He cared so much for us and loved us so much that “He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. John 3:16.
D. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God first, and have privileged knowledge of that coming realm. Mark 4:11; Matthew 13:11-16; Luke 8:10.
III. So … even though we are just a tiny speck in all of the universe, we have the power of the Almighty, Ever-Living, Holy God at our side.
A. Hebrews 13;5-6. He will never leave or forsake us
B. I Peter 5:7. He cares for us.
C. Genesis 28:15. He will never leave us until He has done whatever He spoke to us to do.
D. Daniel 3:15-28. See how He cared for and protected Shadrack, Meshack, and Abed-Nego. [Likewise for Daniel in the lion’s den in Daniel 6.]
E. Deuteronomy 31:3-8. See what Moses said to Israel and Joshua.
F. Joshua 1:5. No man can stand before you; He will not fail or forsake you.
G. I Chronicles 28:20. David told Solomon that the Lord would not fail or forsake him.
IV. We know that Satan is the great deceiver (Revelation 12:9), and he wants you to think that God will let you down when times get difficult.
A. Note I Peter 5:7-8: right after Peter writes that the Father cares for us, he talks of Satan trying to devour susceptible people like a lion.
B. Most people are caught up in the fear of death, but the blood of Jesus Christ removes that fear!
1. Matthew 10:28. We know what lies beyond this physical body, and fear Him who made us and called us out of this world of confusion.
2. Romans 8:14-15. We have not the spirit of bondage to fear.
3, II Timothy 1:7. We have been given not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
4. I John 4:17-18. Perfect love casts out fear, and we have access to that perfect love through His spirit.
5.Hebrews 2:14-15. The devil will be destroyed, and those who feared death all their lives will be delivered from such bondage.
6. Hebrews 13:6. I will not fear what man may do to me.
V. We need to understand God’s incredible care for us, to have called us to be His sons, and not let the deceptions of Satan cause us to think otherwise.
